UPGRADE through Helpful Resource Links

Here are some positive, uplifting resources for your UPGRADE adventure:

(1) Do You Know Who You Are?

One of the studies that changed my perspective on life was a study I made of who I am as a Christian - who I am in Christ. This study helped me stop comparing myself with others and accept who God designed me to be - a unique woman with a unique mission. That was a major UPGRADE!

In Christ, I have a New Identity, Absolute Security and God-given Dignity. If you are God's child through salvation in Jesus, this study is for you! See it here.

(2) Need Some Answers?

I often have questions and need truth so I can make positive, proactive decisions choices that will UPGRADE my life. People have asked me where I go for answers. First, of course, I go to the Bible. A good Bible concordance is a valuable resource. But I also use a website called Got Questions.

Crossway Bibles offers a Bible Book Browser (English Standard Version) if you'd like to explore some themes you didn't find in the topical study. You can link to another resource here.

(3) Focus on Jesus and Follow His Example

The Bible says Jesus "increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52). In the same way, we can "increase" (grow, change, develop - "UPGRADE!") our lives as we study and follow His example.  It helps to understand how we relate to Jesus as believers. This study includes scriptures to help you explore many of Jesus' names.

(4) Are You a Woman of Wisdom?

Since UPGRADE living is based on wisdom, taking time to study the contrast between God's wisdom and the foolishness of the world is crucial. This study, "Are You a Woman of Wisdom," will make the differences clear.

(5) "Smitten: Building Tough and Tender Love with the Husband God Gave You"

God has enabled me to have a thriving marriage for many years (married in 1974). One of the special privileges I've had is to keep on pursuing that "smitten" relationship when the Lord brought us together—building in strength as well as tenderness.
