I want you to know I take the security of your personal data and your privacy seriously. I will do the best I can to insure your data is handled well. I want to inform you, to the best of my knowledge, concerning how this site collects, stores and uses personal information.
First, this is a personal website and blog—written and managed/edited by me, Dawn Wilson. The website address is www.upgradewithdawn.com, and it is located on the Squarespace website builder.
My website and blog are currently referred to as UPGRADE with Dawn. My outreach ministry is Heart Choices Today (as noted on a separate page on my site).
When you visit upgradewithdawn.com, your personal data—such as your name, email address and website address—may be collected in a number of ways:
- When you contact me by email,
- When you post a comment to a blog post,
- When you subscribe to blogposts, and
- When you visit the website and accept cookies (by checking the box in the upper right corner).
I run my website through SquareSpace.com and I am cooperating with the Squarespace privacy policy.
I do not personally sell or exchange your personal information, or give it to any other company, for any reason, without your consent.
I simply post blog posts and allow for people to contact me who might want to learn more about me or what I do. I do share my and guest bloggers' posts on Facebook and Twitter, and I refer you to their privacy policies:
Facebook privacy policy
Twitter privacy policy
Note that any COOKIES used for my website are generated by Squarespace for functionality, good performance statistics and reports about the use of this website. You can find out more about that here.
My responses to comments are fairly simple. If someone comments on a blog post, I reply to that comment and I do not further that comment or any ID information to any other source or use it in any other way.
Re: COMMENTS
If someone comments on a blog post, I will reply to that comment and not further that comment or any ID information to any other source. To comment, you are required to identify yourself and that information is stored in the Squarespace database. Information from your personal information (such as your email address) may be used by Squarespace in order to function properly.
When you leave a comment, you can opt-in to save your information in cookies so you will not need to fill in details for future comments. (See the top of my home page for that opt-in.)
If you still have questions, you can contact me through my personal contact page. I will do my best to respond to your concerns.
